Jack in the Pulpit
Silk
Strips of purple silk noil and chartreuse silk doupioni are sewn together to form the body of this Appalachian woodlands wildflower. Hidden inside is a purple charmeuse silk lining and a stamen of seed beads. The leaves are embellished with embroidery and beads. The strap is two Kumihimo braids joined together in a new technique developed by Tim Clark.
